Chinese New Year Celebrations 2019

On 4 February, the school held a celebration in the hall together with our elderly friends from the Lion Befrienders Service Association. The celebrations began with a drum performance followed by a series of inter-class competitions. Our lower secondary students displayed their creativity in the God of Fortune competition as they competed to be crowned the best-dressed God of Fortune. Next, the upper secondary students put up an entertaining and dynamic lion dance performance as they vied to win the lion dance contest with their handmade lion head. Following that, our principal Mrs Saw led the school in a sing-along session before the celebrations ended on a high note as the school took an aerial photo and celebratory video with a drone!

On 13 February, the school staff came together for a Lo Hei session together with parents, master teachers, members from the School Advisory Committee and Bukit Batok East Constituency, as well as Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC, Mdm Rahayu Mahzam. Everyone had a great time as we tossed for a prosperous and joyous year ahead!
