Badminton
Our Badminton CCA aims to nurture well-rounded sportsmen and athletes who excel not only in badminton skills but also in character. Through our weekly training programme, students learn essential technical skills required of a badminton player, while also developing important life skills such as resilience, grit, and discipline.
The teachers-in-charge and coaches are dedicated to nurturing students holistically, focusing on both their physical development and character growth.
We believe that the challenges faced in a sports CCA play a vital role in shaping students to demonstrate the school values of Gratitude, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork. Students are also provided with leadership opportunities, allowing them to grow into confident and responsible individuals.
Key Programmes
National School Games (NSG): Through competitive play, our students develop technical skills, strategic thinking and resilience. The Badminton CCA students demonstrated their commitment to excellence when they prepared for the National School Games the year before. The regular practice combining drills, footwork, and agility exercises coupled with constant reflection help to prepare the students for the rigours of the tournament. The students also learnt many life skills such as communication, sportsmanship and Fair Play. This commitment by the students to excel in the National School Games have helped them to build up their confidence in themselves and in their own abilities.
